Leaders to Legends Academy also champions the idea that successful education is a collaborative effort, embodying the belief that “it takes a village” to ensure the success of all connected families.

Dr. Griffin, Founder of Leaders to Legends

Dr. LeDonna White Griffin, a native resident of North Omaha, well-known as a change agent in the field of education. For a 26 year tenure, she has served as an Intern, Teacher, Foster Parent, Mentor, Assistant Principal, and Principal in both elementary, middle, and public and private sectors. As an administrator she was known for being an advocate for youth, creating and developing an instructional model that resulted in no children being suspended from school, all the while closing the achievement gap year after year.

From this continued passion, LEADERS TO LEGENDS ACADEMY LLC was founded and welcomed families who desired a family centered education focused on self improvement through an intentional focus on the growth of the mind, body and soul, through a faith based education.

Dr. Griffin earned her bachelors of Arts and Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Elementary Education with a specialization in Black Studies. She holds a Masters of Arts and Sciences in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. As a first generation college student, raised in a single parent household, with 4 siblings, at the closing of the year 2006, Dr. Griffin completed her personal journey of being the first in her family to earn a doctoral degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, with an endorsement as a Superintendent! Please understand, no degree can ever teach the genuine advocacy she has for all humans.
